Agriculture and energy, seated at the same table, because the region's oldest fights run between them and most of the new ones do too. This season's table was PNWER's — the 35th Annual Summit of the Pacific NorthWest Economic Region, 19–23 July, where Mary Dye spoke among delegates from ten states, provinces and territories. PNWER has convened this region across the border for thirty-five years, and its Legislative Energy Horizon Institute is where Mary studied the continental grid.
